ANDREW HUNTER
Not only does BDS student Andrew Hunter act, but he also is a tremendous asset behind the scenes. Andrew has developed some solid theater crew experience this past year! He is currently stage managing Spark Theater’s “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf”. This classic 20th century piece is celebrating its 50th year anniversary and is something you don’t want to miss seeing in the Spark’s intimate and alive theater space!
Congrats Andrew, we are thrilled to see you become such a wonderful asset to our community, both as a performer and an integral member behind the scenes.

DANI PAYNE
BDS Student Dani Payne has signed with the world-renowned Wilhelmina Talent Agency. Not only did she floor them with her gut-wrenching dramatic monologue and hysterical comedic monologue, but she got an audition right out of the shoot for a spot on 20/20 along with an audition for CarMax!
Congrats Dani, we know you will not only be a wonderful asset to W Talent but that this is also only the beginning of a wonderful career by an inspiring actress!

KAREN BETSTADT
BDS Student, Karen Betstadt, lent her fun, energetic personality and acting skills to the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater’s show, “The Matchmaker’s Date with Murder.” She played the lead role of the Matchmaker! This is the second show by Creative Revolution Theatre Company!
Dr. Betstadt also debuted her standup comedy routine at a special comedy show that took place at our home studio. Keep your eyes open for information on the next comedy night coming soon at the Mercury Café.

BDS Student Jennifer Thayer completed a steady and exciting 2012, especially the last part of the year. Jenn booked the part of the Mayor in Eyal Fill Filkovsky's upcoming ‘Magnanimity’. She also played the Lioness in Chris Dodge's upcoming project ‘Lionstar’. Her most recent gig was a voice over job for a phone system for VPLS and Krypt/VPLS Solutions. Linda Swanson Brown
BDS Student Linda Swanson Brown has an incredible couple months coming up!
She recently started working on a meaningful project with fellow powerhouse BDS students Andy Hankins and director/actor Jim Sea in a film about the Occupy Movement. They will be filming a pitch scene in order to help raise funds for the full length feature, slated to shoot in 2014.
She is also currently rehearsing the bizarrely entertaining and funny "’Bat Boy the Musical’ at the Bug Theater put on by the Equinox Theater Company. The Musical is a comedy horror show that follows the adventures of ...

GRANT BENJAMIN

BDS Student Grant Benjamin has had a busy schedule the last two months. He was recently cast in a Dark Knight parody sure to be a viral hit as well as a short film called, "The Beauty is in the Streets."

Cougar has had a solid year being cast in four independent feature films, three of them as leads. While “Stineheid” and “Me & My Friend Alfred” are currently seeking financial investors and “Impressions” is being filmed this December, he was cast as the lead male role in the psychological thriller, “Trauma”, by Twelve Monkeys Dancing Productions.
This will be TMD Productions first feature film after having numerous successful and award winning short films produced.

Alberto Ocampo
Alberto Ocampo was cast in his second voice over project, playing the voice of Shogun, the lead villain in the anime film, “The Invisible Samurai.”
Production company, Panime, has been working diligently on this feature film for the past three years. The biggest name in anime production, FUNimation has already shown interest in the film once it is finished!

Tom Auclair coming off a spectacular win on stage performing in, “The Pillowman” will be playing The Old Man in the classic theatrical adaptation of, “A Christmas Story.”

Clarity Engel and Daniel Castine
BDS Teen Students, Clarity Engel and Daniel Castine have both been cast as leads in “A Stupid Conversation Among Teenagers.” They have been honing their skills in class and their talent is coming to full fruition right before our watchful eyes!
BDS Teen Will Engel continues to book roles, too! He was recently cast and finished filming Joseph Adcroft’s surreal and meaningful, “The Luck of the Land Mines.”
