Genius is not a possession of the limited few, but exists to some degree, in everyone. -Robert Henri
Benjy Dobrin Studios was formed in 2006 to help aspiring actors, artists, and everyday people unlock their true potential. Utilizing a unique behavior based approach to acting, Benjy caters his teaching to each individual student, focusing on the specific behavior necessary for an actor to have an authentic human experience. When actors are forced to challenge their perception of truth, behind the surface lives a relevant artist capable of greatness.
Benjy Dobrin Studios is thrilled to continue the wonderful Improv For Actors Class, with BDS improv teacher, Michael Collins.
As more and more casting directors are asking for strong improvisational skills in the audition room, BDS is excited to announce the new Improv For Actors Class. In this new, dynamic class, students will learn the basics of improvisational acting in a fun and relaxed environment. This is a great way for new students to get introduced to the craft, and a great way for established actors to complement their traditional acting classes with Improv techniques that will help enhance their craft. Discover how to find new choices for your scenes and excel in the audition room.
Class meets Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30 p.m. beginning on Jan. 8th.
Space is limited, register soon to reserve your spot in class.
