Adult On-going Behavior Based Working Actor Workshops With Benjy Dobrin

This East/West coast style workshop is geared for beginning to intermediate actors who are looking for a solid foundation to begin or continue their studies within the craft. Students work on the essential skills needed to work professionally, as well as the essential skills required to get the job. Students focus on scene work, monologue work, cold reading, mock auditioning, commercial copy and a variety of exercises. This is a safe and supportive environment for all levels of ability. Students are primarily assigned material, scene partners and exercises, with great emphasis based on each student getting involved in helping to choose subject material that interests them.

In this advanced East/West coast style workshop, students work on the specific skills needed to work professionally, as well as the essential skills required to get the job. Students focus on scene work, monologue work, cold reading, mock auditioning, commercial copy and a variety of exercises. This is a safe and supportive environment for the intermediate to advanced student who is ready to push their craft to a new place. Students are encouraged to choose their own material, rehearse extensively, and bring highly polished work to class for advanced level critiques and training.
