Risa Scott
BDS Student Risa Scott has been hard at working auditioning and practicing her craft at BDS and it has paid off! She was recently cast as the female lead in the short film, “The Boy Who Stares.”
“The Boy Who Stares,” is a short film based off of the tragic events of a school shooting. Risa will play a female victim who is interviewed ten years later after the tragedy.
She also accepted a role in the feature film, “From the Black,” and the web-series, “The Rise of Spencer Kane.” She will be playing...

Miles Wartes and Danett HernandezBDS Students Miles Wartes and Danett Hernandez have proven to be a solid force together and apart as they continue to push forward with filmmaking wins!
They just finished filming "Directors on Directing" together, a film by Damien Patrik. This short film is a dark comedy about filmmaking itself filmed on a RED. Damien's last 9 films were accepted into numerous festivals through his production company, Pepper Biz Media.

Andrew HunterBDS Student Andrew Hunter keeps knocking down the wins!
He was recently cast in the ensemble for "A Night at Fawlty Towers" planning a slew of characters! He will be playing Mr. Hutchinson, Reg, Mr. Thurston and Mr. Arrad. The show is composed of four episodes from the famous British Comedy TV series live on stage. The show is a fast-paced farce that "will keep you rolling in the aisles with laughter." Not only are BDS Students busy with acting gigs but they are booking modeling gigs too! BDS Student Briana Rigau is a finalist in the "Face of D'Lola Couture" Competition!
D'Lola Couture is known for its gorgeous vintage style dresses and wedding gowns and is currently in search for a model to be the face of its brand.

BDS Student Andy Hankins has already had a busy year with former wins, "Roses in December" and "Union of the Night" finishing up. But he doesn't stop there. He continues this success with a new short film and commercial!
He was recently cast in J Allen Visuals' thesis short film production of, "A Friend For Haley."
He was also cast in a local commercial for Dellenbach Cadillac in Ft. Collins playing a salesman!

BDS Student Holly Westwood was recently cast as one of the most iconic theater characters of all time, Juliet, in the very modern version of Romeo and Juliet at the Betsy Stage.
This rather new theater is dedicated to producing Elizabethan adaptations with modern twists. Not only are they trying to shape something new within the classically old but donations from every ticket sale goes to a charity of your choice!
"Romeo and Juliet: The Panopticon" will be running April 15-17th and the 19-20th.

BDS Student Andy Hankins is widely known for his dynamic characters and comedic timing. He showcased this once again in two great wins. He was a supporting role in “Batman: A Parody Rises” and was recently cast as a lead in “Union of the Night”.
ARWorks Productions’ “Batman: A Parody Rises” is a short parody film based off the recent successful blockbuster hit, “The Dark Knight Rises.” He joined the cast along with other BDS All-Stars Grant Leibowitz, Risa Scott and Russ Nielsen.

It’s been a wonderfully successful year for BDS Student, Cougar! Cougar continues to push forward as he was recently cast as a dope smoking frat boy in the feature film, ‘Magnimity’ by EFillF Productions to be filmed this summer.
