Miles Wartes
BDS Student Miles Wartes has a busy two months coming up with three solid thesis student films!
He was recently cast as Allen McGrew, the lead in Liquid Luck’s production of “Back to the 80s” directed by Ian Kellett. It is a tribute film to the classic era that brought us incredible films like “Footloose” and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. Miles will not only be working on his acting but will also be practicing a lot of dance routines. He will be sure to cut loose.

Robyn Ashley Dennis
Robyn Ashley Dennis has had an incredible month and a half of short film wins from ranging from student films to indy projects! Not only has she been cast in a slew of short films but she was also cast as the lead in a majority of them.

Don Beauregard
BDS Student Don Beauregard landed a national commercial this early October for Kaiser Permanente!
Proving that age should never stop our dreams from coming true, Don, 67yrs old, has been studying acting at Benjy Dobrin Studios for over two years. He is represented by W-Talent.
He played the role of a fisherman in a lifestyle/health shoot. His reaction to the win was filled with excitement saying. “Although I am in acting for the journey as much as the arrival it always feel good when your work gets validated.”

BDS students Robyn Ashley Dennis and Cougar scored both leads in the short film, “As Seen On TV: Protein X.” It is a short film by Natalie Villa that takes on the classic zombie genre and adds a romantic comedy twist.
Trying to impress the office secretary, Steve ends up taking some behind the counter protein supplements only to find himself slowly falling apart and decaying. Hilarity ensues as they go out on a date and a fellow jealous office employee finds out...

BDS Student Cougar has been hard at work, auditioning and booking. His latest wins include a few commercials, short films and some supporting roles in up coming feature films.
He landed a three state regional commercial for the famous southwestern furniture store, RC Willey flying him and fellow Colorado actors to Utah. Along with a local commercial for Real Estate Agent Lori Corken, shot on RED by the talented cinematographer James Drake.

Grant Benjamin
Grant Benjamin, BDS Student with a lot of wins this year is taking on the Super Bowl! He was cast as the lead in a commercial for the Doritos Super Bowl Competition. MILES WARTES
Congratulations to BDS Student Miles Wartes and his father Alan Wartes for their new production company Greenwood Studios.
Years in the making, this father and son duo has set out to produce film and video projects emphasizing strong storytelling and artistic excellence. They have already hit the ground running with their first animated film, “I Once Ate a Pepper” and short film, “Fast Food Romeo.” Their first official shoot was a music video for the Safonia Women’s Choir.
Congratulations Miles and Alan. The sky is the limit and we are thrilled to see you reach there and beyond!

ANDY HANKINS

Andy Hankins continues his solid 2012 year of feature films with the indie film production, “Creep!”, by Slithering Carpet Films. Other BDS students include Tom Auclair and Rafael Hernandez.
This clever film is a mix of narrative and documentary as it follows the real life exploits of a seriously bad movie called, ‘The Creeping Terror,” and its even more disturbing director, a real life creep Art Nelson.
Andy will be playing John Caresio who played the role of Col. James Caldwell in the original campy horror film.
