Posted on February 27, 2018

Dates: Tuesdays (On-Going) Beginning March 26th
Time: 9:30 am -12:30 pm
Capacity: 16 Students
Cost: $170 (four consecutive weeks)

If you’re struggling to make our evening classes and would love to reconnect with your art and the BDS community this workshop is perfect for you.

Have you ever walked into an audition or performance and thought… "I’m stuck in my head and can’t connect with my character.”

That’s a real problem because the success of your audition or performance depends on your ability to be relaxed and confident so you can create truthful behavior and emotions.

If creating an authentic connection with your character and being in the moment (instead of your head) is important to you... you're going to love our new weekly Authentic Actor Workshop.

BDS coach and professional actor Kevin Cox will show you how to partner the actor’s checklist with unique exercises that will transform your acting.

Each month you’ll learn a specific process to tackle your biggest acting challenge.

With deliberate practice, you're not just doing a scene or monologue ( Don’t worry, you’ll do them) and getting feedback on how it went.

You’ll be using exercises that address the specific challenge that’s keeping you from utilizing all your talent.

It’s more laser focused. It’s anti -”let’s just run lines.”

Anything that keeps you stuck in your head and creates distance between you and your character is a problem.

The heart of this workshop is to get you unstuck and out of your head so you can create an entirely new dimension to your creative process.
