Improv For Performers
This class is ideal for both beginning and advanced students who are looking to build up their improv skills. Whether you're trying to improve your booking rate for TV commercials or just looking for a fun creative outlet, this class will be a great fit.
Scenes are the vast creative playground of group mind and it is time for recess! Performer Improv focuses on combining key discoveries from class into a culmination of group-minded play on stage in two performances. New team skills will be introduced and incorporated into the foundational building blocks of long and short form improv. Explore the fun and challenge of the imaginative world of group scene work with master instructor, Joshua Kirk, MA!
About Joshua Kirk
The Extraverted Owner and Improv Guru
Joshua Kirk’s pioneering work in improv has been touching lives since 1995. He has facilitated life and leadership advancement for companies and individuals from coast to coast, enhancing corporate cultures and relationships across the U.S. through the experiential and cooperative art of improvisation. He has transformed corporate cultures, church communities, and school programs that have changed the lives of students in every grade (K- Grad) and age (5-85). Joshua’s creative philosophy uses improv to “guide the art of connection.” His work helps participants discover the link between improv, each other, and life. Joshua received his Masters in Theater Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
