Cry On Cue is a six week workshop taught by Kevin Cox. Cry On Cue will focus on proven techniques to develop and expand your emotional range. Let’s face it, we’re human, and we all have emotional blocks and habits limiting our emotional range as actors #thanksMomandDad.

Cry On Cue will teach you a proven process to help get you “out of your head” and in touch with your naturally creative instincts.

Weeks 1 & 2 - STEP 1: Get Out Of Your Head

During weeks one and two you’ll learn the basic techniques to reduce tension and anxiety so you can perform at your very best. Ever have “Audition Nerves?” Discover a simple and quick process to help you relax and be more open. CONFESSION: This saved my butt!! I was dying a slow death in a dreadful audition but fell back on this process and secured a callback.

Weeks 3 & 4 - STEP 2: Opening Your Senses

Ever feel like you just can’t connect with your character? To be completely honest, you’re not alone because most actors face this. You’ll practice a fun and powerful technique to build confidence in following your instincts and imagination. You’ll discover the one word that will guide you into the emotional life of your character every time.

Weeks 5 & 6 - STEP 3: Put Your Skills To Work

Weeks 5 and 6 challenge you with prepared work and will refine your ability to use the techniques in a real performance. You’ll learn a simple and creative process to move deeper into your character’s mind and heart. I’ll share my favorite technique for becoming emotionally open...quickly!

Cry On Cue is designed around proven techniques that give you the specific tools you need to be a more open and emotionally fluid actor who’ll be confident in tackling any character.

Expand your abilities and develop new skills that will serve you well on stage, in front of a camera, or convincing a cop your speeding was a result of demonic possession.
