Creative Impulse is a process developed to help you break through the roadblocks standing in the way of your full expressive and creative abilities.
How exactly does this impact your acting? Unfortunately the roadblocks we experience, are more times than not, a result of social conditioning (thank your parents and peers). Because of this we censor our most honest and authentic impulses. This one limitation single handedly prevents most actors from reaching their full potential.
Poets, musical composers and fine artists create from instincts alone. They don’t write down what they think could be effective, they just work from their hearts.
RECONNECT WITH YOUR INSTINCTS
Actors are exciting and fun to watch when they’re spontaneous and working from their instincts and heart. Creative Impulse utilizes a step by step process comprised of improvisational exercises designed to help awaken your instincts and discover your emotional triggers which allow you to work authentically from your heart.
HOW CAN CREATIVE IMPULSE HELP ME?
Creative Impulse uses improvisational exercises to develop your biggest advantage as an actor, following YOUR instincts and truest impulses. Along with building these crucial acting muscles, Creative Impulse will:
1: Improve Consistency: Stop feeling like your best performance was in your car.
2: Expand Your Range: The improvisational exercises are specific to helping actors feel more creative, emotionally responsive and adventurous in their work.
3: Improve Spontaneity: Actors will learn exactly how to build a connection and respond truthfully to their environment and scene partner.
