Natalie Waldrip has had a busy year with a variety of short films. It’s no small
wonder she is being cast in more, as she has an incredible talent for saying so much
on camera without saying a word. As BDS students know, her mastery of “creative
hiding” on the Actor’s Checklist is uncanny.
She proves this talent again and again by being cast in two independent
features, “The Hermit” and “Follow Your Heart” (acting alongside BDS student Russ
Nielsen!)

And the wins keep coming!
Natalie will be playing the role of Ellen in Hans Anderson’s short film, “Ellen O.”
When you are cast in a film as the title character, you know you’ve landed quite the
role! Way to go, Natalie!

She will also be in the film “The Evocation of Shinigami,” a brutal and timely tale of love,
obsession, mystery and death with an intriguing tagline.
“Will the entity make them suffer a worse fate even than death!? The Evocation of
Shinigami.” We get chills just from the website!

She wrapped up July filming another feature, untitled at this moment, by Bob
Domonkos, known for his earlier film, “And Now For The Tricky Part.”
Congrats, Natalie! And to think the year is just halfway over!
